Cost per lead, explained

Cost per lead is what you spend on advertising divided by the number of leads (calls, forms or bookings) it brought in.

Why it matters

It is the simplest way to judge ads. Compare it with what a customer is worth to you; our calls value calculator helps you estimate that.

How to improve it

  • Make sure leads are tracked as conversions, or the number will be wrong.
  • Compare campaigns by cost per lead, not by clicks.
  • Pause searches that spend money without leads.

Where to see it

Bloomize shows spend, leads and cost per lead from Google Ads on the Growth plan and up.
